nitrous + stall, all other mods pale in comparison when looking for best bang for the buck.

I guess that depends on the use, for some one like me nitrous is a complete waste of money, yeah it will definitly help get me down the track faster with lower ets but could u imagine how much id be spendning on filling the bottle but having to use my nitious every time i got on the freeway or go to pass a car? (i know thats not what its for ) to me a bang for buck mod would have to be somthing thats there no matter what, SC turbo, heads cam ehaust ect ect.

p.s just re read that and i come out sounding like an *******, didnt mean to.
no disrespect to u parish.

I don't think you sounded like an ***. It is the simple truth. That's why I am not going the nitrous route either. I mash on it waaaay to often and would spend too much money on bottle refills so I went with boost.

Nitrous is best when you have already done the basic mods and your truck/car is already pretty quick as is but you need that extra bit for racing those "special" times. Like when the guy next to you just gave you that "yeah right" smirk like you are not worthy of his machine. Hahaha

nitrous is the best when you want to DRAG RACE, if your looking for more get up and go on your way to work then yeah, it's not ideal. a stall is for everyone though and is the 2nd best bang for the buck.

i have said this before but just to put nitrous into perspective, on the truck i have now(4.8motor) not 3 weeks after i bought it i ran a 16.1 na with electric fans and a t stat and ran a 13.48 with a 100shot. NOTHING can compare to that for "bang for the buck"

i agree with parish, for drag race use, without spending a ton of money, nitrous would be the way. for everyday driving and getting up to speed faster, bolt on's, and if you have the money, supercharger
