Got any pics of the Hedman shorties? How much... Forced to consider options, being that the 2264 Pacesetters do not fit right in the '86. Considering different headers compared to notching frame.

Plenty of info on the 4.8 tho. Only difference on the motors is stroke, this is why the HP figures are close ( 270 vs 285 ) but the torque is huge ( 275 vs 320 ). The extra torque really gets these big rolling bricks going off the line faster.
VHO option was introduced in 2004

Stock form best out of 5 runs I ran 15.42 in the 1/4mile with my 04 rc sb 5.3.

Sad thing is after adding a Magnaflow single in dual out & a K&N drop in I only pulled a 15.37@88.38! I only gained half of a 1/10 in the 1/4 mile after spending nearly $600 dollars! I assume that TQ mngmt has something to do with holding back those mods.

15.42 is good. Although you should have picked up more than .05 seconds! I think the weather conditions/temperature may have been different.
Well 15.4 is what I should expect. I'm hoping my custom tune will help alot. Maybe .25.
