my stock 02 4.8 rcsb with 3.42's ran a 16.02 at 88.8 mph (i ran 16.0's consistantly). this was in 85F temps with 90% humidity and really shitty/heavy commercial grade tires. holding 1st & 2nd gear a little longer helped me out quite a bit, the best i could get putting it in drive was a 16.2 because it would shift into 3rd before i trapped. i also think i could have gotten a better launch with a little more practice.

In my 05 rcsb 4.8, I went 16.8, after I took torque management off and raised the rpm's, it went 16.1. Now that is in 4,000 DA, if I would have been at Houston Raceway Park then you can figure about a full second off of that. This weekend I'm not gonna have to worry about the lil 4.8 anymore though! Steppin it up a notch!

My 04 RCLB 5.3 A4 G80 ran 14.67 @92 bone stock. I think it will go 14.4@93 on the " perfect pass".
The only thing I do is put down the tailgate and remove the filter. This spring I will be back at it and looking for that 14.4 pass.

Do I have the fastes stock gas GMC/Chevy??
