I Love My Fal's. Bought them on ebay, used. The only problem I had was Pulling my boat in the hottest part of summer, I didn't have any 10 Gauge wire when I installed the fans so I used 12, well it drew enough to blow the 30 amp fuse (was supposed to be 35+) Got to the boat ramp and wasn't going to let the truck sit there at 250*+ so I jumped the fuse with some old christmas light wire I found, Thats the **** that catches on fire, I was letting the fans run while I was preparing the boat. came around the front of the truck and that friggin wire was on fire. didn't have no gloves, Nothin, had to use a friggin lighter to jerk the wires out " Brilliant" It didn't blow So when I got home I changed all the wiring to #8 and have never had another problem. My VSC is fine, just use the size wire they tell you, or bigger. and there won't be enough draw to heat the vsc......

I've got the FAL's and had to replace one of the motors. I understand they had a bad batch of motors with failing bearings. Other than that, there have been no issues. They definitely free up some power and give you a lot more room under the hood.
