thought yall might like to see the heads I just got back from machining today, went with 2.00 and 1.55 same size as ls1 ferrera valves 5 angle, 918's notice the unshrouding I got a local guy who builds all out drag race engines to do the work hopefully it will be worth it. the exhaust looks about the same size wish it was bigger but the intake is huge in comparison to the old.
Im thinking the comp cam is the better choice now with less duration on the intake

I ran out of money trying to budget this and its getting expensive, I asked him about cleaning up the heads and he said that I might gain a tenth at the track but thats all Id see by making them "look pretty", ******* machine work valves 5 angle job springs retainers and pushrods set me back around 800 !!!
oh well theres goes a big chunk of my tax return and I still need cam and install Im hoping to find the cam I want for around 200, install with gm gaskets headbolts should run around 600

ok Im officialy done after this.........for at least a couple of months until I want more

damnit I just started adding what Ive spent on this truck since I got it 6 months ago and Im over 3g's with the heads and cam

Im going to bed
