Ok, here they are. Pics of the GM Performance Parts cold air intake kit on my 2006 Vortec MAX.

The kit contents

it looks really well built and the overall looks are appealing. i don't know why they put such a huge bend in everything. i guess to clear the radiator hoses.

Damn wish I saw that before I bought my AirAid, very nice! How much noise does it make and do you have a part # for it?

Looks like a dry filter. Wonder if it will fit the Volant?

dont like the design of that tube at all... too many tight radius curves...

I was thinking the tube looks MUCH better than my K&N. Mine doesn't have as many bends, but there's a really narrow space that the air has to go through right at the TB that I don't like. This is a really nice looking piece.

I think the curves would be better then most of the intakes that squeeze down over the hoses to half their size and create a flow restriction.
