Pics of the New Dorman Truck Intake Manifold (3-piece)
#32
Honestly i think it is supposed to be a replace intake for the trucks... All, I mean ALL the sensors, injectors, vac hoses, everything fits perfectly with the orginal equipment, the factory cover even bolted up to it. The manifold it selft it taller and wider (bigger plenum) than the stocker...
I finished up the install late yesterday did a little bit of tuning (MAF only), i still need to retune the VE then the MAF again but I wanted to see what it would do. I think the intake improved the mid range and upper RPM pull on my truck.... I do know that i was pulling .72 grams/cycl in the 91* weather yesterday at WOT between 5800-6400. Usually it only pulls .68 grams/cycl, so the logs prove there was a gain...
If it i get a few bugs worked out i plan to go to the track on thursday
So in my case $30 intake, $20 for porting supplies and a couple of days in working on it, i think it was worth.

.72 grams/cyl is a little more than what I pull with my 6.0 I got problems
