Well the internals of mine look like the ones on the right. Which you say are ceramic then spun metallic? They aren't shaped the same external and mine do have bung holes, before and after.

I was thinking the same thing looking at the pics, yours looks more like the one on the right.

Those center spun metallic ones are the cats I was considering having welded. Supposedly they lose no power over no cats.
