There is lots of stock trucks out there running that kind of boost. I'm sure nobody changed their rings. I got my rings at my local dealer. $35 for 3 rings on each piston. That is for my 6.0l to. Shouldn't be much difference for an LS1.

Yep, that price is times 8. Luckily I didn't need that many. I bought a set of brand new take out LQ9 pistons from Ebay and 1 piston was missing the rings. Only paid $110 for the pistons, rings,valve springs, and pushrods. All I needed was the pistons and rings. The guy bought a crate motor (never been started) that he was going to supercharge for his S10 Blazer and he took that stuff out.

I went with the dealer ones cause it would match the rest of the other pistons. Since I just needed enough for 1 piston and not the whole set. If I needed the whole set, probably would have went with some Speed Pro file fit rings. Considering they have the correct size.
