Default plans for the 4.8

ok here are the plans for my truck so far. it is a 4.8. correct me or lead me in the right direction if im headed down the wrong path. i have been studying threads on this page for a few days now.

Intake: probably the cheap one from ebay. my truck as of now has no factory intake or aftermarket it is cheaper for me to do this than buy a factory airbox.

Exhaust: LPP long tubes and offroad y pipe. seems to be a good deal. trying to decide if im going to buy a magnaflow muffler or stick with the flowmaster 50 series.

cam: planning on running a z06 cam and springs. not quite sure on how much this will help. let me know.

EFI Live tune

Exterior: Grant customs rollpan, shaved tailgate handle, ss bumper, 07 cowl hood, 07 grille, color matched door handles ect.

i am running boss 330 22's with a 285/35/22. 2" spindles 2" hangers and 2" shackles.
give me some feed back.

Don't know the exact price on the factory intake, but the ebay one has to be cheaper, I'm sure that the factory piece is a few hundred bucks...how about a MAF, do you have that?

The LPP's seem like a good deal, one member here just installed a set and had a few issues such as the y-pipe hitting the floor board where it bolts to the catback, but the headers themselves seem to be solid. Check the hardware before the install too, I believe that the y to catback bolts were missing from the member's set that I mentioned, and the bolts that go into the head were on the cheap side.

Word is Magnaflow>Flowmaster, I have 2 round 14" long Magnaflows waiting for install myself.

Z06 cam seems to be a nice bang for buck upgrade, sure there are better cams out there, but that combo is inexpensive and good for somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 rwhp I believe?

I wish I had EFILive, as well as the time to learn how to use it...do you do your own tuning or are you a beginner. The learning curve appears to be pretty steep if you want to get in and enjoy the fruits of your labor right off the bat.

Sounds like some nice exterior mods too, although I prefer the 03-05 hood and grille, just my personal taste.

Oh yea, the pic didn't work, the img tags came up in the post...

IMO don't do the z06 cam, if your going to go threw the trouble of the cam swap get a decent cam... Your going to need new pushrods either way...

Alot of cam options depending on what your goals are then...is it a daily driver, how high you willing to spin the engine, would you be willing to install a higher stalled torque converter if your automatic, etc.

I'd get some hardened pushrods for some fairly inexpensive insurance btw
