With my old mods N/A:
226/.535/112 cam
Volant Intake
TT3000
gutted cats
AS&M long tubes
300lbs or so weight reduction
electric fans
83k miles on the motor
I got 15.5mpg on average with mostly freeway driving but at 80-90mph and fairly agressive driving
Bone stock I think the best I got was close to 17mpg but that dropped with high miles.

'00 RCSB 4x4 with 5.3L stock motor running through 3.73's ... 285/16 Michilens... 33"
I get around 14 city/mixed and 17-17.5ish on the highway.
I used to get 14.5-15 city/mixed and 18.5 on the highway with the stock 245's. I'm ok with the worse mileage..

03 1500 with the 5.3. Bone Stock except for 285/75. 14-15 in town. 18-20 hywy. when i pull my 27ft camper, pushin it a little harder than i probably should 8-10mpg. Has anyone else heard the with the new 4dr 1500 you cannot pull a fifth wheel or gooseneck? i was told this so i thought it may be helpful for someone else.

stock RCSB Z71 5.3L = 14.5-14.9mpg
stock 5.3L predator tuned, UPD intake, 40 series muffler = 16mpg
5.3L with the above plus comp cam 212/218 = 14.7-15.5mpg
Current setup, 6.0L and stall = 14.3-15mpg
Current setup on 330KM trip at 130k/hr or 80mph = 18mpg

The only mods I have are a throttle body, K&N intake, and headers. I have not noticed any change in my gas mileage.
I get 17 around town and 22 on the highway. My daily commute on I-95 to northern Virginia (usually around 80mph) is 57 miles one way and I get a consistent 19.8 mpg (because of the mixture and highway/city driving).

Well, most of you guys are doing way better than me. Stone stock '03 1500HD CCSB 4x4, 6.0L/4L80E w/3.73's barely makes 11.5 around town and a all time best of 14.5mpg at 60mph on the highway. With a 24 gallon tank I'm normally looking for a gas station by 275 miles.
