Default plug wire ?

is there a special way these come off on our trucks? I tried yanking on them but i didnt want to break one cuz my new wires wont be here till next week. I can get it off the coil but not the plug itself...the truck has 120,000 mi. on it and i dont think they have ever been changed.

pull on the actual end of the wire. dont pull on the wire. get on a bucket lean real far in there and yank and wiggle, but not wiggle as much as just yank

That's funny. Be sure to wiggle and waggle while you yank.

But try twisting the boot (end of wire) while you pull. You might just make sure they twist on the spark plug first, and then twist and pull. If all else fails, just get a pair of pliers or something and rip em off. You gettin new ones anyhow. Or a knife and cut the wire and boot, and get the pliers and pull the clamp off the spark plug. There's my pennies.

If they've never been off, you'll probably have to damage at least some of them...just wait til you get your new ones, first. The heat does baaad things over a long time.
