Default Plug wire recommendations

I have never really put any thought into aftermarket wires. Really dont think they are needed, but i'm to a point where if it will get me 1 more hp at a small cost I may do it. What are you guys running and what do you think of them?

I am a firm believer in the OEM wires. I think the aftermarket are good for looks. (ducking for cover)

I really feel the same way, havent seen any real proof aftermarket wires do anything for these trucks. I think i will be sticking with the stock wires.

I would only suggest the aftermarket if you had clearance problems with headers.

You can get the OEM wires in colors now.....
The trailblazer uses blue. And the LS2 SSR is red with a 90* plug boot

The wires are so short on our trucks I don't think there would be much gain. At least none that you could feel. Every little bit counts though.

Thanks Blown for the heads up on the blue wires. I'm gonna have to check those out.

How much do stock wires cost? I think MSD's are $60-$80.

i got MSD's cause the stock wire would pull out of the plug boot, thus i had to keep recrimping them.
