Question for those that have these.

In the auction they show these as having a 3.5" flange after the Y. Since these are for early trucks wouldn't these have a 3" final size? I am looking to put these on a truck with a factory 3.5" system and trying to find out if they will bolt up or if the ad diagram is incorrect.

Thanks

What did you make that out of? I just ordered a set of these headers and will be needing to keep my wires off the primaries.

+1. I think the ad is incorrect since OP should have a 3" system.

They might be calling the outlet 3.5" because it actually does slightly flare out right at the actual flange? Probably a half inch. See pic below. I know my stock Y pipe did this as well...

I'll send it to ya.

This kit matches/bolts right up to the stock exhaust. Actually i had a summit dual 3'' cat back on and it bolted right up.

I used a stainless steel worm clamp i had and just cut off the non ribbed parts and used the rest of it to make my clips.

Its stout, but can be bent and drilled to make the desired bends. Worked great.

Send me the link as well if you would. Did the Y pipe come with them, and if so can you get O/R or catted?

Thanks.

I just got mine in and I must say the quality is very nice. The primaries measured 1 5/8 and the y pipe and collectors are 2.5". So it looks like I need to pick up 2 2.5" band clamps. Did you use a bolt to block off the egr?
