Ported TB pics and tune adjustments
I ported my Throttle body this weekend. I was relatively easy I just followed some of the threads here and on Tech.. The biggest PIA was trying to get the springs all put back on in the right locations...
As far as tunning I had to lower the following tables a good amount to prevent the startup from going up to 2200rpm... The correction table kept the rpm from flaring, the delay helped it from hanging, and the decay helped it come back down faster...
{B4343} Startup Friction Airflow Correction
{B4345} Startup Friction Airflow Delay
{B4344} Startup Friction Airflow Decay
I did notice a decent amount of difference in the Off-idle acceleration, but the mid range is kinda flat now.... Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to do some VE tuning to get the mid range back in sync, WOT is about the same... All in all it was a decent mod, nothing drastic, but it was fun to do....

I hate to tell you this, but in picture 2 your shaft is put in backwards!!! You should not have to adjust any tune settings for idle as the flow difference with the blade closed is very minimal. The only ones I've ever had problems with had the blade slightly cocked and just needed adjustment. Something is not right... and it may leave you stranded like my first one did.
FYI, here's the how to I did with pics. https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...light=throttle
