Im not trying to start anything im just curious.

I understand its stronger maybe, but what does it do that makes it better?

aside from being stronger, it also has a higher breakaway point. this being the point when the eaton would begin to slip, the detroit locker will stay locked in long past that point such as doing donuts etc.

Is it worth spending the money and getting the detroit locker or is the auburn the way to go?

for most performance applications, the auburn or eaton is the way to go. especially if noise is a concern.

DETROIT LOCKERS

My detroit came with a lifetime warrenty against breakage. And it will NEVER wearout like an Eaton or Aubern limited slip.

Detroit locks solid with no slip, and doesnt have clutches or cones to wear out.

An Eaton or Aubern will perform just like a detroit at first, but once the clutches wear theres no comparison.
