To answer your question...my truck is a 93. Were there other, non-GM Positive traction or limited slip differentials available for these trucks before 97?

And...to answer your <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" /> if there was any doubt, my wheels can spin JUST FINE on concrete and asphalt. I have even gotten them to catch in second...and my shift kit is not installed yet! <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" /> </strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">ok hot rod.....

You guys are right... I'm outta here.

Really was an honest mistake though...I just saw GM V8 Performance.

Here's a question for ya though...if someone dropped an LT1 (which a friend of mine is selling now) in an older truck (like mine), would you still say this section was only for "newer body style" trucks?

The V8 truck performance section is for 99 and newer "LS1" based trucks. I don't think anyone meant any ill feelings toward you though.

Yes this is a ls1 based site but you are more than welcome to ask questions in here as well. Just title your post with your year model in the title. There are plenty of us that will try to help. Enjoy your truck but i wouldnt try to race one of these trucks just yet there HOTROD.. You know guys there might be people that could spend a little time on here and end up getting a 99 and up truck. Lets dont shun these guys everytime

Feel free to ask all the questions you want, but keep in mind what the guys have been saying. We also have an LT1 and conversion forum here. Good luck with the truck and come back anytime. A lot of guys here had the TBI trucks before these, so there is plenty of knowledge here.
