My pro yank 3400 drops to 4950~5K on a 5500RPM shift point both 1st, and 2nd. Thats with 14psi, 4L80E in 4wd.

Circle D 2800-3200 base converter:
1-2 6200 > 4800
2-3 6200 > 4600

That was with 4.11's 275/45/20 . Have to check the 4.30's and see it's the same or not.

May also need to bump my shifts up a little after reading this thread.

I shifted that cam out at 6600 with the tow haul josh. It seemed to work pretty good.

2->3
Shift at 6800 drops to 5050
shifting 6750 it dropps back to 5200ish...new converter is supposed to keep me above 5500 at all times

Shift 6700, > 5000,

ive road in a truck with a circle D 4k, shift at 6800> 5900!!! it feels damn good

Its a great DD stall if you tune the lockup; I can get around kind of easy shifting at 2100 or so. It usually shifts between 2500-3000 with me driving a little lead-footed.

On good tires I can brake stall it to 2600 or so and it flashes to around 3400-3500 behind my bolt on 4.8.

Here's my shift tables:



I don't use RPM because I have a 4x crank position reluctor wheel and a PCM looking for a 3x signal. I use MPH instead, with my tire & gear combo & drivetrain slip it's shifts around 5800-5900rpm

4l80E w/stock stall cut to 2500
9-1/2lb of boost

1->2
Shift at 6000 drops to 4100

2->3
Shift at 6000 drops to 4300

ok, looking at a log that i just ran it shows me shifting a little earlier than commanded (6200) shifting from 6100-4600 in both the 1-2 and 2-3. Yank SC2800 converter.

6psi stock 80E converter
1-2 5500 - 3750

still lookin thru logs, but nitrous wakes it up.. just cant find the log.. argh..
