I guess im thinkin in terms of just a full pull unlocked. Not the shift...

Alot of the guys that make big power with really loose TC lock it up at WOT... Some crazy bastards with a really GOOD TC lock it up in 2nd and 3rd... Unlocking for the gear changes...

With a turbo, yea locking it up does make it pull a little better for some reason.

thats realy what I want to do. I think im going back to a stock style TC, a little lower stall. Im gonna sell this 80e PI

ya, with you new motor that stock TC will probably feel alot better than it did behind your 4.8..... BTW how is that motor doing, you wipe it down with a diaper often or what?

It hastn moved from where I unloaded it. I havent done ****. took the shrink wrap off.... I am gonna try to get a turbo specd out this week. I thnk I may try to put it halloween weekend. Still dont have a cherry picker to borrow tho.

This is interesting mine n/a shifts 6250 > 3500 1-2, and 6250>3800 2-3, this seems like a big drop? will just a higher stall make the drop less or is there something else. i have a 60e, stock tc, 3.42 gears.

Anybody have a TB stall?
Is the shift extension the same as the stock 60e stall?

blue drops to 5000 (5200 75 shot) from 6500 and the Z drops to 3800 from 6000.

roughly 300-400 rpms more.
