Default Power limits on stock 5.3L 2001 with 90k miles

Hey guys, got a stock 5.3L in my 01 silverado and was wondering the stock power it can handle and what will need to be changed out. Right now it has 22' wheels with 305 tires, Procharger with 3.6 pulley, stock auto trans, 4x4. Was wondering if I could throw a little nitrous shot at it and be safe if I get a seperate tune for it. How about rear end and drivetrain. Would like a 12 second daily driver. Thanks

Get rid of the 22's and get a smaller pulley.

According to every single thread like this i've read. It will take 2 psi less than what it takes you to blow it up.

That must be a helluva donk with 22' wheels...har,har.

These (4.8,5.3,6.0) are a lot stronger internally than the 98 and earlier SBC engines from what I've learned on here. They have 6-bolt mains and powdered-metal rods, to name two of the improvements over the older stuff.

get a built tranny and then add some more boost, get rid of the 22's and you'll be plenty happy
