I have a 3.6 pulley on the way from Procharger. I plan on getting the truck tuned by Sound Performance in Illinois since they are quite local or Speed Inc. What do average truck wheels with tires weigh. I weighed my 22's and my 20' BBS's and they were pretty similar. Any recomendations on transmission's. Want to keep it daily driver, a decent stall, and enough to handle 500 horse or so. Nothing to radical.

NVM it was the 3.7 pulley from procharger. What bottom end are you running in the truck. Mine is just a stock 5.3 with 90k on it. Looking to daily drive the truck year round as well.

Finish Line Transmission is in Wood Dale, Illinois and have an excellent reputation on this site. Call them and tell them your setup and goals and they will recommend you a transmission.

I imagine your 22's are in the 80-100lb range. just a guess
my 17's with tire are under 55lbs and my old centerline 18" setup was 55-60lb. it can make a world of difference dropping rotating mass.

If i were you i would look for some forged 20's I know some guys are in the 50-60lb ranghe with them depending on rim and tire choice

as long as your tune is safe, id worry about the transmission and rear end.
500 to the wheels isnt much for a stock bottom end as long as you dont get greedy with the timing.

Guess thats not to far fetched. I was making just over 500hp with my single cab. 5.7 LS1 stock bottom end, just ARP rod bolts.
