Default power loss?

okay so yesterday i put my stock muffler back on because i couldnt stand the DOD drone in the cab. i have the dynatech longtubes with the highflow cats, it seems noticeably different in power, should i get a retune with this or a better flowing muffler? or is the stock muffler good flow. (the muffler came off of an 06 and had a flowmaster 50 series on it)
