Default Power Steering Problem

to make a long but fun story short, last night i lost my power steering due to my dumn *** messing around playing cat and mouse with my bro, him in his TA and me in my truck. well i did a donut i know that when the rearend spins out of control the engine will automatically shutdown but i didnt know i will loose my power steering. how do i get my power steering back? i checked the PS fluid and its fine. my truck is a 2000 silverado 5.3L

The power steering shouldn't just stop working. Open your hood and grab the power steering pump pulley. Pull on the pulley and if the pulley and pump shaft move outward the shaft is broken in half (a common problem). If this happens you need a new pump.

don't pull on the pulley when the engine is running though, well unless you want some excitment

LMAO, Stupidfast was right. Damn, the level of tech knowledge on this site is unending. Thanks Tomorrow it will go to the dealer for service.
