The curious side with the horns on his head got the better of me and for the best. I hooked up a battery charge on trickle. I got Predator to load properly, reviewed the performance tune numbers and then adjusted them to someting different. Nothing too crazy for now. I will run her in the morning and go from there. All is right in Wisconsin, for me anyway. Whew what a weird ordeal it was.
Thanks for all the fedback guys. I must say again this site is great!!! I will keep you posted on Predator. Give me some ideas if you can. Thank s again.

Here goes,+2% fuel,1.5% spark.Normal shift-8%1-2,4%2-3.
Shift time -12.5%1.2,-14%2-3. Normal shift mph, 44mph1-2,80mph2-3. Performance shift mph,46 mph 1-2,82mph 2-3.
Normal shift rpm, 5750rpm1-2,5650rpm 2-3. Performance shift rpm, 5900rpm 1-2, 5800rpm 2-3. Shift pressure normal shift +15% 1-2, +15%2-3. Performance shift pressure +17%1-2, +17% 2-3. Well that's it. I did not want to go too radicall the first time out, but it seems alot better than stock, I will drive a couple of days on the numbers and go from there. Is the performance shift when you have the tow/haul mode on?? The user manual fpr Predator is vauge on the subject. I notice the shifting is alot more refined than the HPP3 I had, smoother and more powerful plus quicker. The 2-3 shift with the HPP3 was not that great. Thanks guys.

ok cool man i am glad you got it going.the -% settings you have set,why -.- shift times make the shift longer.- pressure settings take away from the shift. but hey everybody has there settings. i drove mine around for a couple a days before it got the best of me.then i had to go and try every setting.hey if you get a chance check out your fuel trims while cruising. long term that is.they should be a max of +1.56. the ultimate is 0.00.- is the best.here are the settings i had before i sent my tune in.
power enrichment---+2.0%
spark--------------+.5
normal shift adap. -10%
perf. shift adapt. -25%
shift points--------45mph 1-2 82mph 2-3
shift points rpm----normal=1-25600-2-3 5500
perf.1-25750 2-3 5700
shift pressure------+25%
rev limiter---------5950
good luck and congrats.

From my understanding of shifts from the instrcuctions, - shift times quicken the shifts (- means it takes less time to shift not more) and + shift pressure firms up the shift. I could be wrong though.

Yes going negative will make the shifts quicker. At least that is what the manual says, and it is quicker in my truck. This thing shifts so sweet now. It feels like a different trans. The quality and adjustability over the Hpp3 is not to be underated. Alot to play with for sure. Maybe it is not as infinitly adjustable as edit but it is a great tool as of now for my type of mods. I'm gonna go try some more settings. Can't keep my hands off too long. This is fun stuff. It seems that torque management is still present in some way though. Maybe not all bad, I will see. Thanks for the numbers guys.
