predator mph shutoff ?
I've got a predator for the 04-05 gm trucks (u7193), and on the speed limiter it goes up to 125 mph, but the truck shuts down at 105. Is this normal for a vho, or is there something wrong with the predator? If that is all the truck will do, will a nelson tune fix the shut down at 105?

I also have a predator with Custom Tune from James @ Runnin With the Devil. My truck was at 115mph on the speedo and still accelerating but I got out of it because the truck had a slight vibration. One thing you might want to check is where the rev limiter is set, you might be hitting the rev limiter and not the top speed limiter.

On The Predator....
....I used to run on my 03, it had 3 different options in the speed limiter section. I had to run all of them up to 125 for the thing to work. Once I took it out for a dealer visit and upon reflash it did not work even with all three. I reflashed it again and it took.

I had Texas Speed tune the computer on my 2000 ecsb, and with 3.42 gears and a 29.5 inch tire it has pulled to 5500 in third, which is 139.5 on the g.p.s. These trucks will pull insanely hard on the big end and the only mods besides a tune is no cats and a 3 inch dynomax bullet and the free air mods. The guy in the supercharged grand prix didn't know what to think ha ha!
