You can also go to the Scoggin Dickey site and get a Rollmaster double roller for $100, p/n#SDCS1140.

The Cloyes unit has nothing to do with the Lingenfelter name because it is the just about the same price wherever you look.

Thanks Benkey, but I have yet to find another distributor for the HD dual roller Cloyes timing chain set.
Summit tells me there is no such chain with that part number. They said cloyes has discontinued it. I doubt they know what they're talking about.

Jim, are you set on Cloyes, or do you just want to figure this mystery out?

I may cut budget a bit and go with an LS2 chain.
Where is the best place to buy one?

I used to have the part number. Colby04 took some pics of the stock chain and my LS2 chain and there was a huge difference. If it were me doing your list of mod, i would save my money and buy the LS2 chain. Use the other funding for the cloyes to get you an underdrive pulley or something.

I *think* this is the LS2 chain, although SDPC lists it as a GM Perf HD chain:

Jim

it's a 5.3 chain, but they are the same chain on the LQ4 and the 5.3. The LQ9 chain is not any beefier, to my knowledge....I know there are LQ9 guys that have upgraded to the LS2 chain.
