Home Depot to the rescue! This is where ATI should position the filter. I would try to seal the filter from the engine compartment but even like this it's better than what you had before!

thanks guys!! i have a feeling the one piece 3inch manderal stainless coated is gonna look great! right now i havent sealed the filter off because my wheel wells are off because i recently had to pull the motor off the mounts to get to a header bolt that broke off in the head and if youve ever done it through the wheel wells.....you know its a million times easier to get to the mounts right away. when i put the wheel wells back on im pulling off the stock airbox tray and sealing off the filter. im surprised the admins havent banned this name i registered last night. its good to be able to get and give feed back to you guys once again even if it doesnt last!

Looks good! To bad you couldn't relocate the battery and then have the filter in that corner. Less piping = Less restriction

i thought about that option and i still might try that but this way is so easy and simple it literally took 10 mins to think of and less than 30 bucks to put together i think anyone with an ATi should at least try it. if i try the other route by the battery directly in front of the blower, i might even be able to get away with not having to relocate the battery if i can relocate the bypass valve...im getting really frustrated with ATAP! i cant connect. im almost positive my IATs are down since i already logged with it on and im seeing the same amount of boost.. just havent done a log with it off since...the trucks been down a long time.
