Default procharger oil

With the procharger kit on my 5.3 I need to change the oil in the blower and am down to my last bottle that came with the kit. I read that one reason that the blower is self oiled is in order to run the highest quality oil in the blower unlike other blowers where you use engine oil. But I use Royal Purple in my engine and I was wondering if I could use some lightweight royal purple in the blower instead of having to order oil from procharger when I need it. It would alot easier just to run down the road to the parts store and pick up some royal purple and because I dont know of a higher quality oil. Thank you

Maybe someone on here will be able to help you. But, why don't you just email or call up Procharger or the dealer you bought it from and see what they recommend. If they say sure use this weight of Royal Purple or whatever oil then you are good to go. If not you can order some of their recommended oil from them or one of their dealers and they will mail it to you. What could be easier than that? May cost you a couple of bucks but you have a lot tied up in that Procharger and I'll bet it is worth it.

But, using a different oil will void your warranty.

Called Procharger, $26 and 3 days later I had another 3 bottles. Not sure what kind of oil it is but it doesn't look like anything I have seen available at local parts stores, it is really lightweight (like mineral oil), I wouldn't use anything else with out an OK from ProCharger.
