anyway, just wondering why your so against putting it in the crankcase, I thought you might have seen a bad thing happen and was hoping to hear about it if thats the case.

Will it seize? I don't know and doubt that it would if the oil was changed shortly afterwards. The main use for that top end cleaner is to clean out the air pathway from intake, TB, manifold, heads, chambers, and out. Most guys use it for removing carboon buildup from inside the chamber, to reduce hot spots and prevent detonation. GM uses it the same way to clear out carbon and reduce cold start knocking. As was mentioned earlier in this thread, PCV and EGR junk really gum up the throttle body and intake. This stuff works great to clean it. BUT... I don't think its needed to add to your oil system. I'd rather keep good filters on the engine, regularly change the oil and keep it filled with mobil one.

No specific instance. But you know some guys will fight to the death about running mobil one, pensoil, redline, royal purple, whatever. They say my engine will never see anything other than "brand xyz". Well, you'd be better off running the cheapest oil that walmart offers than mixing that cleaner with your premium oil. Thats just my opinion.

So what do you recommend as the best use/application method for the Seafoam product in order to accomplish this Tex?

The oil itself should be sufficient to keep all it touches clean(especially synthetic). He,you,we are talking 3 different uses/systems: top engine (manifold,tb etc) , internal fuel sys : tank all the way through the injectors, onto the intake valves, piston tops and comb. chambers. Third is in the oil as an internal cleaner, which is probably not necessary and possibly dangerous as it lessens the oil's ability to lubricate.
