Default pulling heads off !!!

Well guys i wanted to see if yall can help me on this cuz it will be my first time pulling sum heads off and i don't wanna mess up the motor ...the motor is a ly6 with a blowing head gasket i know i will need to remove the intake& headers but wat else and how can i put them on without water going inside the motor...pics would help out better but right now i will take anything thanks in advance! !!!!!

Just get as much as you can off the pistons before reinstalling but the biggest concern is completely cleaning out the head bolt holes so you don't crack the block when reinstalled.

And when done, change oil, drive around the block, change again.

A tap, some brake clean and a blow gun. It takes time so dont be in a hurry

What are you wanting to know??? Have you pulled the heads yet? If so, toss up some pics or a vid.

If you have coolant in each cylinder then i would use a wet vac to remove all the excess and then use a blow nozzle on a air compressor to blow all the little stuff out..

I soaked it up with a clean shop towel. Biggest thing as stated was be sure you get the head bolt holes cleaned out to keep from cracking the block. I did it with compressed air.
