What pushrod's do i need with a 216/220 525/532 114

 

that doesn't really tell us much. Assuming your base circle is the same as stock and you're running stock heads you'll need some 7.400 pushrods.

 

just use some 7.4's

 

why not reuse the stock rods? just curious

Did a lil research...yea, go figure.
the main reason to change the rods is that the cam is most likely a smaller diameter, so you need a longer push rod to compensate.
So i just need to findout the diameter of my cam and stock.

First swap so I'm trying to gather the technical info. Valvetrains aren't something i've delt a whole lot with.

which reminds me i used stock push rods in my blazer with a 465/488 cam and Dart Iron Eagle heads. I should probably check on that too.

 

Your signature does not state what size engine you have. Assuming that you have a 5.3 liter, your stock cam has a base circle of 1.617". According to my calculations, your new cam has a 1.539" base circle. If you have any other questions, you can call Comp Cams help line at 1-800-999-0853.

 

just use 7.400 josh. most people get the new rods because they're hardened and there has been some stock ones bent...

 

hell the stock ones bend under the pressure of a stock cam so just upgrade
