$157.70 with shipping and a new PCM tuned. I didnt dyno before and after, but when I dynoed with my 206/212 cam with the wait4me tune I can say that although my numbers weren't very impressive, the torque, and HP curves were amasingly flat. What are your mods, and what are you looking for out of your truck. I recomend calling Cam motion, or some other cam grinder and talking to them, someone on here will probably be able to recomend something you'd be happy with though.
The 224 will have a good bit of lope, with my lo compression LQ4 and a 223/226 cam on a 112 LSA the whole truck shakes at idle and it idles about 650-700 rpm if I remember right, Ill have to check this evening where it idles at. It sounds mean as hell idling at about 550

Damn lost my post. The wait4me tunes are $157.70 shipped with a new tuned PCM. I didnt dyno before and after, but with my first cam and the w4m tune the curves were extreamly flat. Im happy with mine for a mail order tune, but with the bigger motor and never ending mods, I decided to invest in HPtuners.
I called cammotion and had them grind a cam for my application. Id definatly recomend that to anyone looking for a cam, but if you let us know what your mods are, what future mods you plan for, and what you want out of your truck, we can help a lot more.
Nevermind I didnt loose my post sorry

Well, Right Now, I Have A 3:42 Posi, Stock 4l60e, B&m Transcooler, Intake, Mti Throttlebody, Maf, asp pulleys, Pace L/t's 3inch Y Pipe No Cats Dumped. I Was Waiting On A Dyno Tune, shift kit, And A Stall When I Get A Cam. Probably A Small Wet Shot In The Near Future. I Basically Want Something With Pretty Good Driveability That Turns Head At The Stop Light. Would Like To See Low 13's In The 1/4 Mile Without Nitrous.

for a daily driver I wouldnt go bigger than a 216/220 or TR220 both would need a stall, springs and a tune for sure! the 216/220 I have heard personally and you hear the lope real good.... I have a 212/218 it is great for a daily driver and the lope is real little, unless I open the cutout then its real noticeable... with any of these cams you should be well in the 13's for sure...

cool, i dont mind goin pretty big on the lope, i have alternate means of transportation to get to and from work, so wouldnt have to drive it every day if i didnt have to. another question, if i want to put a shot on it, should a consider a nitrous cam? i only plan a 75-100 wet shot.

I think either of the first 2 would work. I run a 233/239 on a 113 in my truck and drive it everyday. Tuning is absolutely crucuial running a big cam. DO NOT get a mail order tune running a cam that big. Find somewhere local you can go to get a GOOD dyno tune, TSP comes to mind in you're area, but I'm sure there are some other too.
If I were you and those were my 3 choices, I'd go with the middle one. If you had the ability and know how to tune it yourself, then I'd say go with the larger one, but as I said, tuning is absolutely critical with a cam that big and drivability issues.
Check the soundclip out in my sig.

YES tuning is going to be really important. A good mail order may get you close, but you need it dyno, or road tuned by someone who knows what the hell they are doing. Mine sometimes surges real bad when I come to a stop, and used to die occasionally when I would back into a parking place. I think with the right tuning any of the cams would be fine for a DD, the only thing that would affect drivabilaty would be the stall IMO. I plan to get a Yank sometime this year since they are pretty tight till you get on it.
