question about getting rid of cats
Ya I was wondering, does deleting the cats give a deeper tone to a persons exhaust? I'm looking to get a deep tone from mine and I'm wondering if getting rid of the cats will do it, thx fellas

Mine is allot deeper since cutting mine out and replacing with straight sections.
I have a turbo though, but with the cats it sounded like I had a performance exhaust on.
Without the cats the idle has a deeper tone and driving at low throttle setting it has a deeper tone, but when you hammer it to the floor it gets freakin loud as hell til the turbo spools up.
Removing your cats may not give you what your looking for, the sound will be deeper in some cases but probably too loud in most.

If it a Flowmaster or chambered exaust it will make it deeper and sound alot better. If it is a straight though design it will make it more raspy or thats been the case with my experience.
