Default Question about my LT1 fans, how much will they run in the summer?

We've had a mild winter in Northern Cali and Spring has already sprung here. I've noticed that the fans are already coming on some if I sit in traffic or in a fast food drive through for a while. Temp has been 68-70* last two days, they've come on a couple of times. When it's 90+ this summer, how much should I expect them to run? I generally don't use the A/C unless it's 95+, will the fans be on constantly at lower speeds or just when I sit for a while?
Thanks

Mine usually stay on in the summer in south MS. I have my thermo set at 170 though and my truck runs about 180-185.

Hey dude lay off the fast food! Actually I kept having trouble with the thermostats and relays and crap, so I wired my fans to where they always run when the truck is running. It has been like that for probably 8 months or so and so far no problems. I think the fans are built to last a very long time so you don't have anything to worry about. Also my fans came off a wrecked 99 TA so they had plenty of hours on them before I got them. Dude how did you mount your fans? I want to get rid of the radiator zip ties before they bust something and need suggestions. Do you have any pics of your brackets? Thanks dude.

I got some 1" wide by about an 1/8" thick metal scrap from work and bent them. I used the hole that the top shroud screws went into, I had to make a little off set in the brackets so they would line up properly. I just put two self taper screws in the fans frame to hold the bracket to the frame. On the bottom, I did the same thing but the bracket didn't need an off set. I used self taper screws again, one in the lower radiator support and one in the fans frame. It's prettyy solid, does move and the screws stay tight. I may switch the wiring on the fans to run one when the trucks on and have the other one on the thermostat.

Thanks man. I am going to try the brackets out soon. I bought some just like you described but I wasn't sure if they would break if I tried to bend them. Thanks for the reply man!! Oh yeah congrats on getting the converter installed. It will be cool to see how many tenths it gives you when you hit the track.
