Default Question about Nelson Tune

I have an 04 silverado, stock I turned a 9.7 1/8th mile Ater a nelson tune what would be a good guess of what I'll run? My best friend has an 03 gmc which run a 9.8 stock and he went with gears and ed wright tuning and it brought him down to a 9.0-9.1. I'm not going with gears yet but can a nelson tune get me down in that range? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

all depends on what tune you go with. if you want all out performance and max lowered ET's then you need the 93 tune. I've read of SS's dropping a full second with just tuning, so it might be possible to expect .5 drop at least

We both have rc trucks. He went with 4:11's and I'm still running the stock 3:42's. It really surprised me that tuning and gears dropped his truck about 7tenths. I was wondering what kind of time improvements people have been seeing with the nelson tune alone? Thanks
