Default Question on next mod..

Hey guys, I'm contemplating my next mod for my truck. I already have a Nelson tune, custom CAI, big trans cooler (I forget how big but it's like for an RV) and a Magnaflow muffler. I think the muffler is coming off because I hate the resonance. What would be a wise next move? I'm more of a form follows function guy so I don't care about all the look good stuff. BTW, it's a 4.8 with 60,000 miles. Price cap is about $500 and I'm very mechanicly inclined, I just have a terrible case of indecisiveness. Thanks ahead of time, boot.

Cam, stall, or e-fans. Cam would give you a nice gain and so would a stall. Cam might be alittle close to your $500 limit. Shift kit with a corvette servo I think it is a great mod. That is around $150

Oh I forgot to mention I already have LS1 fans. I'm trying to stay away from stalls as I do tow a boat every now and then. Cam would be ok but I don't want to sacrafice my decent mileage I get with the 4.8. Perhaps the headers would be a good idea. Anyone know how the interior resonance with them is?

I have Dynatechs , I noticed alittle with the stock catback. Then I added the Magnaflow, well all the resonance comes from the Magnaflow. I think you would see some with headers. What are you thinking long or short?

If I were you I'd get the new Pacesetter Long tubes, I think it would give you the gains your looking for without sacrificing driveability for towing. I've also heard good things about Borla mufflers, I will be going with one I think. Not a big fan of the resonance either. Good luck.

I just don't want to go too crazy as I don't want to start paying for tranny fixes. Just looking for more driveability and power without hitting that point where my tranny hates me.
