Default Question on the SDPC HT-1 Cam

Hopefully one of the Scoggin Dickey guys will see this...running this in my 4.8 and its a great cam. My question is about the ramp rates of this cam and if 1.8 rockers would work well with it or not?

edit: Cam Specs: 214/218 .559/.563 111 LSA 109 ICL -6* Overlap

I say go for it!
This cam reminds me on the comp 212/218 highlift which the lobe isnt very harsh on valve train
I am pretty sure the ht-1 is ground by comp for SCD parts

From the looks of it I do believe that cam is on the XE lobes which aren't super aggressive as far as ramp rates go. However if you are still running those LS6 springs that are in your sig I would advise against running the 1.8 rockers on those springs. You'll be near .600 lift with the 1.8s and I think you'd be pushing your luck a bit.

Glad to hear you like the cam, we've had good success with it. 1.8 rockers should not be a problem with that cam. Lift will increase to .591/.595, so as noted above, you will need to change springs. Let us know if you have any questions!

Will do. BTW this cam helped me make 288hp/299tq on a Dynojet...hit the hp # at 5500rpm. I think it had a little bit more in it but I had my speed limiter set at 120...no track times yet.
