Default Question for those running Flexalite 282's.

Most of you know I installed the e-fans awhile ago and was having problems with the a/c clutch signal wire and the fans not staying on while the a/c was on. Well, I got my new variable speed controller (vsc) from Flexalite and did a test run to see if the fans stayed on while the a/c was on. Just like before, they come on and run for about 10 seconds then shut off. So, while I was searching for a switched ignition wire to tie into under the fuseblock (I had it under the "etc" fuse until now) I tested a green wire with a white stripe across from the wire I'm currently tied into for the a/c. When I tested the wire the a/c clutch engaged. Is this the wire I should've been tied into? I posted up a link to a picture of my fuse block with side notes so you guys can see what I'm talking about. I also noted which wire was the switched ignition wire for those of you that might want to know where it is. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Thanks for any help!

Default Re: Question for those running Flexalite 282's.

Jeff,
The solid green wire runs from the relay to the clutch. The green/white stripe wire runs from the PCM to the relay and is the relay control. I have always used the solid green wire to avoid splicing anything into the PCM and have had no problems.
How cold is it where you are? Do you have the temp in the cab down to full cold? Just wondering since the compressor will cycle quite a bit if the temp setting is anything but full cold.

Mike
