Default Quick exhaust help (catback / dumps vs just muffler / dumps)

Anybody? I know its probably a trivial Q and all but throw a player a friggin bone here......

magnaflow Catback w/dumps vs just magnaflow muffler and dumps - any big performance difference between the two? Stock system does not appear all that restrictive to me.

and if just muffler, what is recommended - 3 inch single in / 3 inch out vs. 3 inch in / dual 2.5 out.

Any helo is appreciated, I have the day off and can get it done today.

There isnt going to be a big difference between a cat back and a weld-in. Get a 3 inch in and whatever you want for the out side. If you want the dual look the get the dual output if you want the stock pipe then get the 3inch out. I would recommend not dumping it though cause you will get a hell of alot more interior resonance.

I went 3" si/so and exited in front of the rear tire. I like it. Oh yea, I went with 3" pipe from the collector back, so I quess its pretty much a cat-back.

I wouldnt spend the money on a cat back, just weld in a 3" in/...." out muffler.

Yeah, I watched your vid this morning. Just the aerochamber and dump in place of the stock muffler and all stock pipe from the muffler forward, correct?

Your clip actually changed my mind and I am now seriously looking at the hooker mufflers. I liked the sound and I am NOT going to spend friggin $600.00 + for a catback exhaust system on my truck. I only spend that kind of coin on my Chevelle.
