Default Quick Injector Question

So I have a set of 60# Siemens Injectors that are going on my 8.1L. I am going to need the MSD 2400 Pigtails, right?
And if I do, can a just use some sort of quick splice connector to hook them up and leave the originals on the wiring harnes??

I would find some adapters or do a solder splice. A quick splice is not the most reliable solution for such a critical component.
