Are you talking about the cat pipes or the intermediate pipe from the y-pipe to the muffler? I think at the cats its 2.5" and the intermediate pipe is 2.75".

Honestly I've only heard that muffler behind a turbo so I couldn't give a good answer on how it sounds. It flows really well though

Oh, and the intermediate pipe is 2.75" so just order a 3" muffler and you'll be good to go.
