Default Radix and a early Z06 cam and springs

Is it worth installing both at the same time? I was thinking about the Early Z06 cam because it has the .550 lift and the 117.5 LSA. Of course the later Z06 has more intake duration at 207 (vice the earlier model with 204) and still has 116 LSA.
Is there any point to this or should I just upgrade springs and keep the stock cam for now with the Radix?
I had previously considered the hotcam because it is such a bargain for the kit, but the 112 LSA seems like a bad call.

Opinions and facts appreciated!

Thanks,

Cory

The 01 LS6 cam had .525 lift on a 116 LSA. The 02+ went to .550 lift and the wider LSA.

If you have a Z06 cam already though put it in. Its better than the stock one, and you will gain a fair amount of power from it.

I guess I got the years mixed up... I do have specs by part number ,though. Thanks for the correction.

I had the 01 LS6 cam in my 99 5.3 with a whipple. It ran OK, but not great. It dyno'd 305 375 with full bolt ons, no knock retard, 7psi and 16* timing. I sold the whipple soon after.

I have on '00 Sierra with a Whippe and '02 Z06 cam. I don't have any dyno numbers, but he cam swap really made the truck pull hard above 2500 rpm. Below 2500 rpm it felt better, but not enought better to warrant the time and effort. The big gains were in the upper rpm ranges.
