Just add some ducting and electric fans, and you are all done

did you notice lower IAT's with the ducting?

I didn't like the idea of my heat exchanger, trans cooler, a/c condenser and radiator all being stacked in front of each other. It might also be harder to upgrade to a larger trans cooler. Besides, the opening in my valence is the perfect size. The only downside would be if you hit a tire or some large object on the highway....although it would have to destroy the valence and everything to damage the h/e. My h/e gets a few more rock dings and stuff than if it was behind the grille....but I think it gets better airflow and its one less thing for the air to hit before the radiator.

Unfortunatly, I did not get a chance to monitor the before and after. I suspect the IAT is about the same, at least intially. What noticably better is the recovery time between full throttle runs. Cooling down the water used to take 10-15 min, only takes 2-3 minutes.
