Default Radix Track Times

Well, here is the latest track times from me. The track conditions were really bad, and friends said I was spinning almost the whole way, but any how here are the 3 runs I made:

Pass 1:

60' : 2.238

1/8 : 9.289

1/4 : 14.415

MPH : 95.02

Pass 2:

60' : 2.230

1/8 : 9.293

1/4 : 14.346

MPH : 96.41

Pass 3 :

60' : 2.365

1/8 : 9.530

1/4 : 14.552

MPH : 96.94

I think with decent track conditions and better tires other than firestone indie 500 I can hit a 13.90

Yes .. it looks like you were having horrid traction problems with the incosistant times and the wacky 60' times. That is what a bud's stock 4.8 ran but at 16.2-16.3 ET's. I say get some sticky tires and it should be good for low low 14's or high 13's.

What else do you have done to the truck?

Radix 3.40 pulley, much larger heat exchanger, 160 degree thermo, single 40 series flowmaster (muffler only).

That's it.

Runs much better than before, I sent it to magnacharger because of the high intake air temps, they looked at it and said no problem found, but somehow magically it works better now.

I think he meant the 4.8 ran the same 60' times.

You're 60's are not THAT horrible. Not enough for them to say you were spinning the whole way down the track.

Spinning halfway down the track is 2.6+ 60's LOL

Anyway, if you think you have enough power and traction to get into a 1.9 or 2.0 60' then you'll have a 13 no problem. Good luck man, gladf to hear the blower is working right now

You misread his post. He was saying that stock 4.8 was doing those 60 fts, but with 16second ETs.

It looks like you gained 30-40 hp since your last time at the track. Guaging from your mph.

I think with traction you could get a 13.9.
