1/8 : 9.289

1/4 : 14.415

MPH : 95.02

Pass 2:

Pass 3 :

60' : 2.365

1/8 : 9.530

1/4 : 14.552

MPH : 96.94

I think with decent track conditions and better tires other than firestone indie 500 I can hit a 13.90
A stock 5.3 ecsb should run somewhere in the high 15's to low 16's. So I would not be disappointed with your ET at all. With some work on the 60 foot times you will be in the high 13's no sweat. Add a little boost (good bye warr) and you are in deeper. Hell you added almost 11 mph to your stock 1/4 mile MPH that is hard to do!

The only mod I had before the blower was a muffler. I know for a fact my heavy *** truck would not run anywhere near the 14's. I also have about 50 lbs of dynamat, 30 lbs in audio equip.

Anyone :

Will 265 / 70 16 tires make much of a difference over the stock size?

Weigh your truck next time you go to the track or hit one of the Weigh station truck stops. That will help you figure out what it takes to run certain ETs or MPH.

As for changing tires. Wht are you running right now?

That is what I am running.

Stock is a 255 70 16 I was just wondering if it would account for anything since it is a little taller.

Ohh, well yeah. If you are running a taller tire than stock yes it will hurt your ET due to being heavier (usually) and raising your gear ratio. BUT it should help out your 60's a little bit.

I know when I stick on my 33" tall tires I drop some time but they are 11lbs heavier each and 2" taller than my stockers I run.

I ran a 14.45 at 95.87 mph with a 2.304 60'. I just have a radix with a volant and its an ecsb. i ran with my 22's in front, at least 150 pounds of audio equipment, and my metal bed cover. I'm going on wed night to run without my sub boxes, all 4 stocks, and no bed cover. I'm hoping for a 14.1-2. Actually I'm having trouble with my exhaust because its too restrictive. 3 chamber flow. I have a 3.60 inch pulley but still seeing about 7 lbs of boost at 5500. Changing to a magnaflow next week.

Good to know someone has close to the same times as me. What elevation are you at? Why a 3.60 instead of the 3.4? Is it the intercooled kit?

Magnacharger installed my kit and it is the radix intercooled. They said my flowmaster was too restrictive and caused my boost to go to like 9lbs so they had to install a larger pulley. Changing to magnaflow and then to a smaller pulley. I dont know what the elevation at sears point is. How do you launch your truck? Mine will just spin. I need some slicks.

Infineon Raceway is about 15-20' above sea level. Sacramento Raceway is about 50' above sea level. Generally ETs are better at Sac.
