General traps speeds from what I have seen are close to 105mph with a decent driver. ETs seem to range form 12.6-14.0+ depending on driver. The trucks are supposedly tricky to drive, much like the Viper.

Yeah, they are very hard to drive. Most "drivers" around here are in the high 13's at best. Nose heavy truck with manual tranny does not equal good traction! Still, they do make quite a smoky show.
Will be interesting to see how the quad cab model will fare this year ( yes, they are building it ). It will come with modded Allison auto tranny from the diesel truck line. it should hold up to the engine output very well and with a decent TC might get the launch and 1/8 mile times down.

errr.....allison in a dodge??? Don't think that'll happen since GM owns Allison. Also, the allison is not a race tranny, it soaks up a great deal of power and require a lot of power to turn it. I'd like to see dodge get a real trans but I highly doubt they will unless they steal some mercedes benz autos and put them in their trucks.

I didn't even know they made trannies. Which Dodge truck uses them? I'm curious because lots of Ford guys do the Cummins motor swaps on the older Powerstrokes that were not turbo.
