Default Ramcharger's timing tuner

Anyone use this? Ramcharger Timing Tuner
Going to get a Nelson tune, then a little later start with a NOS 5177 kit.
It says the N20 features are:
-"activation control on RPM" This is a window switch right?

-timing retard (which I need too right? I read about 2 degrees for every 50 shot..is that about right?)

-activation delay (What is this?)

I figured I'd get this instead of buying the MSD window switch since it's got more options

Use that piece ese. It will allow you to run full timing N/A and retarded for the bottle. I used a box by MSD years ago called their "Digital Multi Retard" and it does the same thing... when the nitrous solenoids ground and open it grounds a wire and causes the box to pull timing on whatever amount you dictate.

best of both worlds in power...

I dunno, I've always sprayed with a highstall converter out of the hole and through the shifts.

Stock converters aren't built for nitrous or big power...they are usually cast covers and have no antiballoon plates that prevent swelling under high instant torque increases. Well the stock Lightning converters have balloon plates...

You dont really need the retard if you are runninig a dry shot. I have used advanced timing and upto 150 HP with no problems. NO crappy fuel though. It seems like a solid piece of electronics but until I see Bigger N2o jetting I wont be playing with retard much.
