Default Ramp Safety

I didnt know where to put this, so maybe the Mods could move it if it doesnt belong here.

Anyway, I bought some Blitz platic ramps for my GFs camry. They are rated for 2000# each. Do you think they would be safe for my 05 CC? I believe the front axle gross weight is around 3900 lbs if I remember correctly.

TIA

I use some all the time for my ext cab. They have fiberglass mixed in the plastic if I remember right. They are pretty strong, been using this set for years. As long as they are level, I dont see you having a problem.

Make sure to put them on solid foundation (sheet of plywood) so they can't lean side-ways. Drive on to them slowly and squarely. Don't store them in the sunlight

I have a similar set for the weight of 3-tons I think. Work beautifully.

Mine stay outside in the sun.LOL. I dont put anything under them, and have even slid off of them sideways because they get slick when you burnout on them.LOL They never have turned over on. They are tougher than you think. But, just to be safe, you should always have a backup like jackstands. My set is about ten years old, think its time for some new ones.

I have a set of the black ones that have worked fine for me when I've used them. I believe that they also offer grey ones which are rated for more weight.
