Random KR. (screen capture)
Does anyone know why I'd pick up random KR like this? As far as I know I was just cruising along... you can see that by the throttle position.
All values on the left reflect the data at peak KR.

Random KR is what it is - random. Doesn't look like you were doing anything to cause it.
That the HPtuners software, right? Cool looking screens.
How in the hell are you getting 22mpg? Using the dic computer, or are you figuring at the pump?

Yeah, that's HPT... so far I like it a lot.
22mpg - I pull that off in my little 25 mile backroad commute. I rarely get over 45-50mph, and I'm locked up almost the whole time - I'm right in the range where the mileage is most efficient. On the highway it drops to 18's.
I do drive reserved - but that's more like, "not doing anthing that would get my pulled over by the cops" rather than driving like a little old man.
It's calculated with the DIC. After doing part throttle tuning, I didn't know if I could trust the DIC anymore. I ran through a tank of gas, and compared the two readings - they were very close. (I don't recall exactly HOW close, it was a few months back...)

I'm wondering if I should look into a knockout box. I'm a little nervous about those things.
I've been under the front end of the truck a few times looking for anything that could vibrate, knock, or rattle and everything seems pretty tight.
Come to think of it, I DO need my steering shaft lubed. Every once in a while, I get a little chatter in the steering wheel when taking corners. What are the chances a steering knock is tripping the knock sensors?

A knockout box would be a bad idea for this kind of knock. I may be wrong, but I don't think its possible to really damage a piston when not under load. I'd say, get a wot log and see if theres any KR there.
