Default Ready to buy.... but need opinions

I am thining of boring a 5.3/4.8 block out (or maybe buy a new ls1 block since they are getting much cheaper) to so i can install the ls1 383 stroker kit. I will buy some pretty much stoke ls6 heads and run the old man cam or similar.

i am not trying to race but have a little more power then i do now without sacrificing daily driving and towing ability.

What do you guys think? what would be a good guess for power numbers?

And no i do not just want to do a 6.0 i want to be a little diffrent.

IMO, out of your choices, go with the ls1. I understand what you are saying about wanting to be a little different, but there IS a reason that the 6.0 swap is so popular...

You can buy a iron 6.0 block from sdpc for 795.00. Then buy a stroker rotating assm from jegs for 2100.00 - 2400.00 and have a bigger motor with a stronger block. Hell paint the iron block with aluminum spray paint and just say its an ls1. The iron block is only 80lbs heavier. If you ever go boosted or nitrous the aluminum block is a liability over 600hp. IMO
